UPS has certified the On-Que IT integration of the UPS On-Line Tools which allow for rate shopping and package tracking.  Testing is complete and we received our official letter of and the new feature will be available for customers by the 1st quarter of 2005.  The new feature will be easy to use as always but will require end-users to complete a short setup wizard to inform UPS to their  intention to use the On-Line Tools. 

Over the last few months the number of inquiries about Easy Trakker are steadily increased.  The development team has adding new features each version of the product as quickly as they are able to type in the new programming code.  I'm sure I've seen smoke coming off some of the keyboards in the office lately.  Check back to News and Views often as we will be changing this page as new features are released. 

Did you know that On-Que IT currently maintains and updates 7 versions of code just for Pro Series.  We currently offer Easy Trakker for Pro 5.0, 6.0, 6.5, 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 both SQL and VFP backend databases.

For all who are unaware, AirBorne Express is now DHL.  The merger is complete and the Libra software that Easy Trakker integrates with has been updated by DHL and the older legacy systems are being updated.  The Easy Trakker link to Libra has also been updated to match the new specifications.  Libra currently does not allow for voided shiments to be exported to Easy Trakker but DHL is adding a long list of features from their EasyShip 2.0 software into Libra to strengthen if foundation and make it an even better product.  We will keep you posted on the status of Libra and DHL as new features as the press releases are put out by DHL.

Postal shipping was added to Easy Trakker in January of 2004.  We have finally got around to updating all the versions of the Easy Trakker to allow for Postal shipping.  If a package is shipped from the end users shipping computer, Easy Trakker utilizes the same scale used for UPS shipping. Either a Metler toledo scale or a FairBanks scale can be used.  The package is automatically insured for the value of the order.  Custom shipping labels can be printed using the label printer already attached to the shipping workstation.  Shipping charges are sent back to Pro Series immediately.
